One year I made my Gram a photo album of her whole life, starting from pictures of her as a young woman (she didn't have any baby pics- they were lost in a fire) and ending with pictures of her with us. I made sure to leave some blank sheets in the back so we could continue to add memories. I put the whole thing in a very nice album that I had engraved at Things Remembered. My grandma loved it so much, she kept it out on her nightstand at the nursing home where she lived and showed it to everyone who came into her room. She died back in 2005, but I will always remember how much she loved that book, We still have it, so we can look over her life and remember her.

Why don't you give her something from the heart. She doesn't want 'material' she wants to be with her family and have something she can cherish.

How about a photo album with the family in it, or a pretty picture frame with the family.

Another thing you can do for about $100-$150 is get her a digital photo frame and but the family in it. It's really nice!

Other ideas:A gift card to a restaurant so you two can go out together! Some knick knacks for the house (statues, candles).

Good luck and Merry Christmas!
