Maybe your wife is a novice for lots of reasons I don't know, no assumptions here. To solve most of the bedroom S/M plays here are some suggestions. Its coming on to the holidays perfect occasion for gift giving. Go out and get both out you the same books. 1 for her to read in private maybe when you are not around, or at her own pace. 2 Same book for you so you both can be on the same page so-to-speak.
relationship stores, sex shops, on-line book store, maybe chapters. 3 communication, you cant have too much, talk to each other.....if you had picked up a hooker you would tell her what you wanted right, with out hesitation..... so tell your wife, only dress it up instead.

Get a copy of a bondage movie. Tell her you have somthing to show her and play the movie. When a guy is tied up, stop the movie and tell her this is exactly what your sexual fantasies are lacking. Then hand her a rope and move into the bedroom.

I think you should sit down and talk to her about the whole situation then work in the fact about you wanting to be tied up. If she doesnt want to then dont try to pressure her into doing it.

If you have asked already and she doesn't enjoy it it really doesn't matter what else you do. she might eventually tie you but she won't be getting anything out of it. you have to find a way to let her enjoy it. Some girls just don't like being the dominant type (I don't), some don't get into bondage at all and some of us do.

If you already asked then that must be a turn-off for her. I am that way, but my hubby knew it long before we got married.
When we started having sex he asked if he could tie me up and I let him know then that he could as long as he never asked me to tie him up. He laughed and said don't worry, it'll never happen.
My point is... we knew what we wanted sexually when we got married. I personally find it a huge turn-off for the man to be submissive during sex. My hubby agrees, so we're all good.
This should have been something that came up before marriage if you liked it. Since it didn't, you need to find out if the request just embarrasses her or if she's turned off by it.
