theres is a lx for $220.00 right now . should i wait a few minutes before the bidding time is over, then bid higher?
will they still accept bids a minute before its over?

You can even snipe the auction and bid at the last 20 seconds of the auction. Just make sure you can get that bid in.

I use a sniping software so I can snipe 10 seconds before the auction ends. That way, others will not have much chance to react and up the bid.

I know some bidders hate it, but as a seller myself, I love snipers because they make the auction more fun and drive up the price

You could try this. I occasionally do it myself. However I as someone who may bid against you, know that others do this. Thus I set my earlier bid appropriately high to counter this. Now when you do not outbid me, you also don't have time to respond to my higher bid.
So doing late bidding is a double edge sword.
