Yesterday i emailed Lemons Casting Agency and said that i love acting and would love to join the agency. Today i recieved an email asking me to send them a stamped addressed envelope to them. What will this be for? What will they send me?
Thanks

They may send you a contract to be signed.

This should serve as a red light, if they will not pay for a postage stamp, I personally would be very wary of what I signed.

If you have a better business bureau, or consumers group that handles complaints, then check them out before you sign anything.
Many of these agency's are as crooked as heck, and many young people who fail ro read the fine print will end up paying a lot more to them before long, Photo fees, referral fees, and the list goes on.

Be careful.

If you are refering to Mike Lemon Casting in Philadelphia PA, they are completely reputable. In addition to their casting services, they do offer a variety of classes (acting, film acting etc...). Check out their website:

I have never taken one of their classes (though friends of mine have). I have auditioned there many times. If you are wondering what the stamped self addressed envelope is for, ask them.

This is not going to help you become an actor. They are only after your money. forget it.
