Does anybody know the equation for the sensitivity of a variable resistor?

It's Vout/ Vin or something, but i'm not completely sure... Help!

Let R(total) = R + R1

Vo = V1 [R/R(total)] this trasfer function is a voltage divider where V0 is measured across R.
