Hi. I was wondering how much my baby should be moving by now? I know that she sometimes will go thru quiet periods but yesterday and today were particularly quiet so far. Maybe a slight twinge or whatever you want to call it this morning. Yesterday I don't recall much of anything. I go Friday for my glucose test but I was wondering if I should call them & ask or am I worried over nothing? This happened a few wks ago and I ended up going to doc's but right before I got there she started dancing to "Hey Jude". Any suggestions or ideas?

I'm 25 weeks and my baby is very active early in the morning, and the evening. He's pretty calm throughout the rest of the day, probably sleeping alot. If you are ever concerned drink some juice and lay down on your back for 10 minutes, and you should feel the baby move. If you haven't felt the baby move in a long time, call your OB.

The baby will have his/her up and down days, just like a person. At 28 weeks your doc should tell you to start fetal kick counts... they want at least 10 in two hours. Which is easy to feel this far along, they are quite the acrobats! But if you are getting a bad feeling about no movements, you can always call the doc to ask... sometimes mom's instinct is best. Try eating a snack or drinking orange juice, then laying down and concentrating on movements. they are more likely to move after eating

I am 29 weeks pregnant and just went through this. I called my doctor, and the nurse I talked to said that at this point, there is still a lot of variance in baby's movements. I was told as long as I was feeling something, don't worry.

I'm 24 weeks and 2 days and I have many days where I feel very little, almost nothing. Other days he's very active. I recently had almost 2 weeks of feeling almost nothing, I got it checked out and they said he is fine, so try not to worry. The extra worrying will only make it worse.

perhaps your just been moving around alot and she is sleeping now,

also remember the larger you get the harder it is for them to move around,

but if you truely are concerned then just call up the doc and he can do an US and check the BAMBINA

Good luck and try and relax
