I sent it today, this teacher quit on October, I thought he still
worked there but I called later to the school after I sent it and they said he no longer works there since October. Will they send it back to me or will they forward it to his home address even though he quit on October(2 months ago).
If he got fired on October (which I'm thinking he did but not sure), will they forward it to his personal address or will they send it back to my address ?

I'm referring to a small medical community college in a small town. Few students and teachers.

Do you think that when they receive the card, they'll look at the card and think that it's "unworthy" for them to forward it to his address ? It is not unethical.

and another thing, do you think that more than likely they won't forward it because "the teacher no longer is their business". ?

If it is a smaller school, I would certainly think that they had the time to either forward it(if they have his forwarding address), or return it ( which should have been done by now.) It could be that the mail is so busy right now that your letter hasn't arrived to him, or returned to you. Wait awhile, and if you haven't heard anything from the school/him write the school secretary and find out if they have his new address. I don't think that they would consider it "unworthy". Good luck!

Typically, adresses of former Employees are kept on file for a minumum of 2 years. Seeing as they still owe him a "tax statement" for this year, they will most likely just forward it to the Teacher.

Call and ask. Or ask them how to reach him now, and send another card to that address.

They have two options, legally. They can write "not at this address" on it, and drop it back in the mail, in which case you'll get it back, or they can write his new address on it and drop it in the mail, in which case he'll get it.

Which will they do? Why not call them and ask?

i doubt they will forward it and they probably don't wanna spend postage sending it back to you so i hope it wasn't anything too important in it cause it probably got filed in the trash can.

i'm valuable somebody would know him there , he would desire to have many pals. i think of somebody will take it to him. i'd ask them if somebody has /or will forwarded it to him just to place your innovations at relax.
