Endergonic,as the name suggests means heat is taken in,to make the reaction feasible. Many reaction requires energy from outside.simplest eg.would be melting of ice,as ice is getting changed from one state of matter to another,it requires energy for getting converted into water. And energy or heat is supplied from outside

Endergonic means you have to put in Gibbs free energy, or work (Greek; ergon, work).
Endergonic is to free energy as endothermic is to enthalpy. It is uphill and won't go unless you push it in some way (e.g. by driving it electrochemically, or by coupling it to some other reaction).

Endothermic, meaning it absorbs energy from the outside to happen. Unlike a fire (exothermic) which releases heat from within the ingredients, endothermic/endergonic takes in heat, and usually yeilds a lower temperature.
