It bothers me. She's still not FAT, but she sure isn't what she used to look like, and that was only 3 years ago.

rivasj27 is right. Why do you all think it is ok to be fat???? It's not ok. It's unhealthy and unappealling.

Another note. Just because it bothers me and I WISH she looked like she used to, doesn't mean I don't love her. I do love her. That's why it bothers me.

if you aren't sexually attracted to the "enhanced" version of her, you have 3 options:
1) tell her to lose weight or you walk (not polite)
2) don't tell her this, just screw somebody else that's not fat (immoral)
3) if your politeness and morality create sufficiently high hurdles so that 1) and 2) aren't real options, then simply accept the fact that you are trapped into a life of celibacy and there is a part of your life that will ultimately never be satisfied. You will only get older and it will matter less.

Not sure, have you gained any weight, or are you still sporting the six pack abs you had when you met. If you two are eating out together and making dinners for each other and both putting on weight you don't have a leg to stand on. Why don't you start dieting and exercising with her?

No it doesnt bother me. My wife has gained weight too but that does not change who she is as a person. It does not change what I fell in love with. She is still my wife and I will love her no matter what.

well it bothers me that he gained weight and I think it should bother him that I gained weight. I am actually insulted by the fact that he thinks I am still a size 2 when I am not. The more I try to get him to go workout with me..the more he eats. Both partners should make sure each person in the relationship is healthy.

my wife has not gained any weight. We have been married over 20 years and wife weighs the same thing she weighed when she was 18, 105#. But, I wouldn't like it if she did. I, too, have remained the same. 6'1", 210 lbs. She's already told me she won't be married to a fat man, so I have to watch it. Tell her you didn't marry that extra weight and you have no love for it! Get rid of it!

It would bother me only if something was causing her to gain weight and I wasn't able to help her.

If your wife has gained weight because of having children then shame on anyone who complians about that.

Ask yourself this....does your wife look in your eyes the same way she did 3 years ago....and if you answer no....then you know why shes gaining weight.....
