Ok i've asked this question twice. both times people told me to either type &hearts to get ♥ or press alt and 3 then let go at the same time. I know ya'll were helpful but for some reason when i do those things the hearts doesnt come. PLEASE!! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO?!!!!!

use the 3 on the square number pad on the right of the keyboard

You have to type & hearts ; with the semi-colon at the end. And without the spaces.
And you do know you have hearts in your question, right?
