I have a few friends on the local force so yeah a few of them know me.
Also it's not difficult to know my first name when I'm walking around because my top has my name printed on the back.

A lot of them do. My dad and six of his brothers were cops...all retired Sergeants and Lieutenants...same city but different precincts.
