It was amazing though,

i watched:

Maholvich
Horton
Ellis
the Hull's
Esposito
Mikita
Sawchuck

man, WHAT A GAME, even if it was in black and white.

best game 6 i have ever watched.

it's too bad the leafs and hawks are in different conferences now, it would be plenty fun to watch them get steamrolled some more :D

k, can someone go ressurect Tim Horton?!

lolll

Bob- Game Six, 1967 Semi-Final.

The hawks had the league championship that year,

the leafs had a horrible season and squeezed into the playoffs, and in game six, the leafs eliminated the blackhawks 3-1 to go onto the final matchup against montreal where they end up winning the cup.

Nothing happened on that day. I have no clue what you are talking about!

The Leafs never beat Chicago in the 60s...what kind of drugs are you on.

Seriously, that was the story of the Hawks. The two best players in the league in Mikita and Hull. One of the best goalies in history in Glenn Hall. And when it came to the crunch.........they folded up like a $2 suitcase. Every year.

In 1963 and 1964, we lost first place on the last day of the season followed by a 1st rd exit. In 1962 and 1965, we finished 3rd...and knocked off the first place team in the first round...only to lose the final.

I just know I was the missing piece to that puzzle!

Do you suppose maybe LITY put a curse on the 'Hawks?
Musta been one hell of a curse, it seems to have rubbed off on the Leafs too. Don't suppose we could get him to recant that curse to lighten up on the Leafs a bit. Huh, wdaada you say LITY, just for a few years?
