I have absolutely no clue what to buy my hubby for Chistmas. He always says "buy me clothes", but I am looking at clothes in the closet from last Christmas that still have tags on them. It's not that he doesn't like what I buy, but he has so many. I am the same way though, if we want something we buy it so when Christmas comes it's hard for both of us to shop for one another. Please give me some serious suggestions as to possible gifts for my man. He deserves the world and if I could, I would give it to him.

That is how me and my fiance are....we see something we want, we buy it. We don't wait for christmas or birthdays...so we have had to get pretty creative when it does come time for them.

This year, I have been working two jobs and he has been out of town for business for about a month and a half total over the last couple months. So, I figured-we needed time ALONE to concentrate on eachother...to umm...have fun. I rented a hotel room with a hot tub in the room, got some lingerie and some "adult games" and am surprising him the week after christmas since this whole next week is lined up with family stuff. Plus, the only thing he ever says he wants for christmas is me, so that is what he is getting....Me with a big red bow.

What my wife and I do is get each other things that we normally wouldn't just go out and buy. For instance, my wife and I are planning to start a family soon (after 12 years together) so I am getting her a digital video camera. Her family is big on recording stuff, and I have resisted so far (as my family never recorded anything), but since we are long distance from her family, I want her to be able to send them video clips of her stages so they won't completely miss out.

Give him a coupon for a weekend shopping trip out of town including a nights stay somewhere nice and supper at someplace exotic. It will be fun and he can try on the clothes he wants!

I know how you feel!

I suggest a gift card to Home Depot (if he would appreciate that sort of thing). My man can't seem to have enough tools - even though he rarely uses them! Because I have no idea what he wants, I give him the gift card and he doesn't need my "permission" to go get himself some fun toys....

Watch for clues when your watching tv or see advertisements and see what makes eye's open wide! Then get him that. Another thing you might consider, is a vacation for the two of you to a place he has always wanted to go!

What is your budget?
Get him a jersey from his favorite NFL or college team!

My husband and I don't exchange gifts. Instead, we use the money towards a romantic weekend getaway or household project: renovate the bathroom, remodel our garage apartment, invest in a really nice piece of furniture, buy a new bed, etc.

A mini vacation. Book a hotel for a weekend, get a sitter if you have kids, and merry Christmas to both of you!

What about a gift certificate to his favorite clothing store. That way he can pick what he wants and maybe wear it more often. My wife will never go wrong with me because there's 2 things that I enjoy,,,reading and coffee,,,Maybe your husband likes to read as well?,,,,coffee mugs or gourmet coffee?,,,
