there will be 3 more spiderman movies
and as soon as the cast gets off the break they decided to take after filming Pirates 2 and 3 back to back they will make a 4th.

God i hope not but from what i can tell the pirate movies are done and they are making a 4th spiderman

Tobey Maguire said in an interview that if a script for the 4th is written and he truly likes it, he will be in it. However, there isn't a script yet, so that's unknown.
They stopped the Pirates franchise after the 3rd film. Which was definitely a good choice.

Hard to believe that Tobey McGuire is probably too old already to play a teenager. That was what was so special in the second movie, that you know "Spiderman" just a teenage boy, but the people don't, due to JJ Jonah's headlines portraying him as a criminal mastermind, until they take his mask off on the El and discover how young he really is. I don't think the character should grow up. Time for new talent--Hollywood is full of it (new talent, that is).

not sure about spiderman.. but regarding pirates.. JD yes-- he signed on for 3 more.. but KK and OB no..
