Oh yes...it was the great big claw foot tub! I am with you...thank God for the shower....that tub took forever to get filled..seemed I would get home from school.//do homework..eat...then take the entire night to take my bath then have to clean that huge thing!!!!! Oh funny, but now I love to soak..but still I shower the most it makes me feel cleaner than a tub.

Yes, my Nanny had a hot pink tub with clawed FEET. It was the most amazing thing ever. I have pics of my cousins and I with soapy hair and faces all sitting in the tub. She got rid of it a few years ago and put in a tub/shower and I was so mad!!! It was an antique!!!

I couldn't imagine what that would be like. I've been stuck on showers ever since I was old enough to bath myself. I've seen the stand alone tubs though and oddly enough have always thought that they had a certain sense of class to them. They would be useless to me though.

Do you remember what things were like before they invented water? Wasn't that a tough time to be around? Still it was better than when they had no food or air! Talk about some bad days. Or what about when there were no days? The most we had were just hours and hours of nothing! I don't ever want to relive those times again!

As a kid, didn't have a bathtub, used a BIG galvanized tub to bathe in. As a kid, we didn't care or know any better.

Yeah grandma & pa's place is like that, I wouldnt last long without a shower.

Me.. but i still have one because we moved i the house NO SHOWER! but i like it coz at my dads he just has a shower cubicle..

It was like that when I would visit my great aunt, which bless her soul would be over 100 years old!! LOL! I hated it!! Thanks for the old memories!! =)
