...oh, come on, folks!!!

...you're forgetting about Ken Foree, and his last-moment helicopter getaway, in the 1978 zombie classic, "Dawn of the Dead"!!! (...some might be inclined to say, the original "Night of the Living Dead", but remember, at the end, actor Dwayne Jones character got shot in the head, at the very last moment)...

...Ken Foree's character in "Dawn of the Dead", was one of the best things about the film; the most sensible person amongst the group, trapped in the shopping mall, all he wanted to do was to survive...no matter what. Think about it; all the other characters, though they had their valued contributions, also had their own personal problems and personality quirks, which repeatedly would interfere with Ken's character's determined survival intent (....Fran's pregnancy, Stephen's carelessness & emotional instability, and of course, Roger's recklessly confident hot-dogging attitude)

..."...are you straight, Roger!!! Not only are you messin' with your life, you're messing with MINE!!!"

I think it was LL Cool J in The Deep Blue Sea- about those super intelligent sharks that ate everybody but him and (thank God) Thomas Janes. LL even has a line about how this black man is NOT gonna die! Very LL Cool *sigh*
