I thought about that when, in the movie "Cocoon" (and sequel) some old foggies went to another plantet where these seniors would be healthy and live forever, much like heaven. BUT ... it's not heaven, my "home"!
It was veey tempting to dream of such an opportubity, but I could NOT daydream about that idea, because I want to go to heaven!
If you could live forever, would you want to? THERE IS NO "IF" ABOUT IT!!!
I am sure I certainly WILL live forever...in paradise; but not on this sin cursed planet! That would be a form of hell!!!
Read "Dorian Grey". I would not want to be unkillable in this life. I want the night mare to end some day, and wake up is JOY, where there are no more tears, in heaven!!!
Have you seen the film "Death Becomes Her". They couldn't die, due to a magic potion, in the movie, but the endng was like a horror movie.
Again I say "unkillability' would be a form of hell on earth. I thought about that, as I watched the film "Death Becomes Her".
My late first wife, both parents, and even my kid brother are already over there, so death will bring a glad reunion.
I trust in God. I will live under his good house rules, in heaven, "fasting" (FREE) from sin and bad habits for eternity.
Let's face it. Without Him, none of us have any thing!!!

Of course! Imagine the wealth of knowledge you would gain, the skills, the history....You would be there for it all. Slipping in and out of existence each time you were ready to start a new life. Yes it is not without a price, but no good thing ever comes without a price..

Young and healthy with open opportunities, or old, racked with pain and unable to accomplish anything? And do I have to perform some heinous deed to extend my mortal life, do I have to do it repeatedly? Or is the situation thus that I cannot die? Interesting question, not enough information.

No, not in this kind of world. Especially knowing that everyone I know and love will die and I'll be left alone. That's what I would hate the most. Loneliness is too hard to endure.

No because life would never be perfect. I would always have to look forward to losing something and all the unfortunate things that happen in life due to the curse.

In this world, no way, it will only get worse. I pity my children and future grand kids. In all honesty, history has proven that man does not learn from mistakes.
