the problem with "other" minds is that no one will ever truly understand you, and you will never truly understand anyone else. even the most empathetic, understanding human being on earth could not truly understand you. this is because simply that individuality is ultimately incorruptible. your individuality is based on the completely unique circumstances and experiences of your own life beginning before you were even born. same with everyone else. and how do we relate to others? we do it the best way we know how, by using our own personal experiences and our feelings about those experiences to try and connect with them in a similar way. the only reason we can comprehend each other at all is because we are alike. because we are the same species, and most of us were raised to interact with the rest of our kind in a similar, socially acceptable way. but the similarities only go so far. plus, even siblings who experience the same things during childhood remember and feel differently about those things. really, the only possible way for members of any species to completely understand each others thoughts and feelings is if they all shared a hive-brain singular consciousness. but therein lies the problem we began with, individuality. for such beings to share consciousness as they do, which would greatly benefit their survival in many ways, no doubt, they still sacrifice their individuality. so in the end, we as humans have settled for a trade-off. so that we may all be infinitely unique and interesting and attracted to each other, we have sacrificed our ability to truly understand one another. however this is a consolation i think we all can and do appreciate, whether we know it or not.

There is only ONE problem with people who have a problem with "other minds" as you are asking.
Let me rearrange that sentence.
People who have problems with "other minds" are people who have a hard time with those who threaten the existing status quo.
"I like things the way they are and here you are , an outsider who does NOT THINK the way WE do.
"What are you trying to do, upset the apple cart?. Things are FINE the way they are. GO AWAY.
"Let us get rid os her/him. He is not ONE OF US.
This in group /out group competition for controlling the way people think has been going on since time immemorial. In fact, it is the basis of the laws of many religions. Mind control.
A 1997 commercial by Apple computers was able to summarize this fear of changing a mind set with a commercial (circa 1997) and here is the text of that commercial.
=======================
The text used in the introductory "Think Different" commercial:
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones,
We see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world,
Are the ones who do.
==================
The past decade, much of our thinking has changed due to the explosion of increased knowledge
Remember that the only way to control the minds of man is to stop the input of knowledge . Keep him ignorant and he is always yours to control.
As traditional controllers feel the loss of control over mans thinking, and therefore of mans actions, that fear of total loss will make them ask the very same question.
Why encourage the minds of man? Things were fine the way they were, troublemaker!. LOL.

Well, from my point of view, the problem with other minds is that they don't understand I'm right and they're wrong. Life would be sooo much better if people would just understand that. (lol)

The problem is that they don't always think, or at least think like me, and I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong, ever !!
