Me! Although fat chicks provide great shade in the summer, they cost too much going out to eat.

I think every guy has there own style of woman though most like a fit curvaceous classy lady. There are some men that are attracted to the bigger boned or larger framed lady. I have dated both even though I married the first one I mentioned.
I do believe if a person dates someone for what they other looks like they are shallow and selfish. I think alot of woman who may be dealing with a weight issue are very sweet and some very intelligent. I was raised to believe do not judge a book by it's cover/or beauty is only skin deep.
I think if the guy cannot except you for you then he doesn't deserve you. Really if your a big lady trying to win the heart of a fit hot guy better lose some weight because most of those guys are into fit athletic ladies.

Every guy I've been friends with wouldn't ask a girl out if they thought she was fat. I never knew one to dump a girl for it if she got fat during the relationship though....they just got her to work out with themand lose the weight.
Personally I don't think it's shallow for a guy to not date a fat girl if they don't like fat girls. It's just a personal preference. If you aren't attracted to that why should you settle for it?
I think if a woman (Or a man) is upset that they aren't getting who they want b/c of their weight then maybe they should lose the weight. I know it's not always easy but it CAN be done! It just takes time, hard work and selfcontrol. Unless you have a medical reason for getting and staying fat then there's just no excuse for it. It's all about choices....Do you want the extra food or do you want the guy/girl?

I'm sure weight makes a difference for quite a few people, especially if someone is excessively over or underweight.
I've been obese, and I knew I wasn't physically attractive. It didn't bother me that men didn't fawn all over me...likewise, although I've dated guys that were carrying a few extra pounds, I've never dated an obese guy (or a terribly thin guy) and I don't think I'd find either of those body types attractive in the future.
Humans are visual creatures...not to mention the health aspect is to be considered, and if that person would be capable of being as active as we like to be or would their weight/size hamper that?

I am 5 ft 1, 145 lbs, I wear a size 7. I play alot of sports and do alot of physical activity. I am not "skinny" as far as hollywood is conceren but I look great and I would never aspire to be rail thin unless that was how I was built. I get hit on more then my younger size 3 sister who is a bikini bar waitress. I like to think its because I have awsome self esteem and a great personality, and I am oh so humble (lol). I think that there are guys out there that totally judge women on their size and looks and its crap! You are really missing out on meeting some really great people even if you dont want to date them, everyone deserves a chance.

Folks it is about time, just like the statues of the Laws get an amendment, marital VOW as we know it needs this amendment as thus:"FOR THINNER OR FOR FATTER."
In a RECENT poll, where 70,000 MEN participated, about HALF of the men said they would leave their partners if she gained weight! HAH???
What happened to LOVING UNCONDITIONALLY?
This is unconscionable! Here's the article:

My husband met me skinny and married me with my extra pounds, we've had kids and now that we're done I'm hitting the gym to look good for him.... I went through a tough time loosing my brother then my grandfather, all so sudden and he tried to be there for me too... Now that I look back, I have an awesome guy who I want to show how much he means to me... And, my plan is to show him by giving him the girl he met, back.

it's happened to me and I've heard every reason why. Men who do that are shallow. I'm only about 30 lbs. overweight and men I've met knew that. They still took me out but at the end of the evening I'd hear "I'll call you" and guess what. I'd finally get in touch with them to ask what happened and that was always the reason. sorry we're not all like Barbie.

What these men missed is the fact that a round person is in fact "in shape".
Because round is a shape.
