went to get up- realized it had fallen asleep worse than you thought and collapsed onto the floor in mid step, screaming out curse words cause it felt like someone was stabbing your foot with pins and needles

not that it happened to me just now or anything. Totally hypothetical....

Yeah. On the computer chair, i always sit on my foot, and i'm on the computer for a very long time. So when I get up I can barely stand on it, and the pins and needles make it feel really bad. So i poke it, and it doesn't hurt because it's numb, but I can feel the pins and needles. And, at school most of the time when we're in assembly, I sit at the back usually, so i can never see because I'm quite short so I sit on my foot to try and see, and then walking out of assembly is terrible, I can't feel my foot. :)
Glad I shared my wonderful story with you. Haha :)

That is a horrible fate. The fastest way to wake up a sleeping foot is to thump the instep repeatedly. Swear on a stack of Bibles that your circulation will snap back to normal in literal seconds.

Yes! I know exactly what you mean...that is the worst feeling! Be careful though, you can actually break bones in your foot if you put to much weight on a sleeping foot!

Yes it happens to me all the time, guess cause I like sitting indian style, then you get up and have to limp around for a while until your circulation is back to normal!! lol!

anytime my foot falls asleep. If I try to walk it off it also feels like the bottom of my foot is round, like the bottom of a rocking horse. Wierd

My arm has fallen asleep like that before. Like dead asleep. I really believe I could've cut it off with a butter knife & not felt anything. It's horrible.

No, that hasn't happened to me. I pretty much pay attention to how I'm feeling so I head anything like that off long before it might happen.
