Ron Paul is a Republican.

He is the only real Republican running, but the Neo-Cons who hijacked the party tend to get rather upset when he points that out.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian who should really be a third party candidate. But he doesn't want to split the Republican vote. You'll probably have to look up " Libertarian".
