It allows you to be more aware of yourself and of others. The higher emotional intelligence you have, the better the quality of your relationships and understanding of others. Luckily, emotional intelligence can be worked on and strengthened.

you should find the common definition of emotional intelligence
for me, emotional intelligence is the intelegence in reacting on something, you know how to react to something, when to smile, when to angry, when to forgive, when to pretend, when to obey, etc
knowing how to react to boss when he act, may please him, more and more pleasing attitude may get you promoted
knowing how to react to a woman you like, may make her yours
knowing how to react to your children, may make you succeed making them like what you want
emphaty, the ability to imagine how people may feel on our action is a part of emotional intellegence for me
the ability to select the right action on a circumtances
the stability to think clearly upon other people anger
seeing the core and the bright side when something hapen
you will satisfied with your goal, and you are happy
or you define "life improvement" differently then mine ?

Most people think that they act because of how they feel but its actually that they feel because of what they THINK.As a man thinks so is he. Speak what you are and what you want and let your body and emotions follow suit. Merry Christmas.
