yes, it is very hard to believe, that after witnessing God's hand in their lives in such awesome ways, they would revert to worshiping an idol...alas, we are humans and therefore fallible...I think when Moses came down off the mountain, they saw the error of their ways, very quickly!! He was none too happy!!

Yes, I do happen to know this. I do read my Bible. More importantly, I believe it.
It was ridiculous that they would immediately slip up and follow idols.

did you also know that moses never crossed the red sea but the sea of reeds. this is a mistranslation from the original hebrew yam suf which means sea of reeds.
