I don't know where she is. She is on probation and I talked with her P.O. and he said she has a warrant out for her arrest.
My question to you is I need some type of form stating I am the guardian of her kids untill she gets back because if something were to happen I don't know if I am able to take care of it.
I called the police to let them know and they said there is nothing they can do. then I called CPS and they said unless there is a case against her they can not do anything either. then I went down to the court and they said I need to talk to CPS or the police. I am so confused.
PLEASE Help. What do I do.

I called legal aid and they can't help me because I make too much money. for a family of five you can't make more then 2,400 a month.
and I make 3,000.00 a month. how crazy is that.
:(

this is to the person that said not to report her because she has enough problems.

My sister has been doing this for the last 15 years old. her oldest is now 15 and I even raised him when I was 14 years old I would get up early enough to get him ready and feed him and take him to daycare and walked back to catch the bus for school.
She did this last year around this time too around Christmas but just not this long. She has been gone for one month already. I am tired of her doing this to her kids.. they are so heart broken over this and enough is enough.
I am struggling with money right now and her kids are not going to have a good Christmas at all. it also put a lot of stress in my life because I work two jobs and now I had to put in my two week notice and quite one job to be able to help them with homework and all.
My 7 year old is taking it hard because he feels I am not giving him that much attention.
So no I do not feel sorry for sis. she did this to herself.

So you go to CPS and initiate a case against her for child abandonment. State your willingness to care for the children, and make them do the paperwork.

Look in the phone book for Legal Aid. Sounds like you need an attorney to help you.

Your church may be able to help.

When dealing with CPS always get the workers name & supervisors name, write it down, Write down what they tell you. They are Govt workers & try to do the least possible amount of work.

If you want to raise em, get a lawyer and get custody. If not, call child welfare and turn em over. If I was you I would fight to keep em, but next time sis came around I would stick her in a small box and then kick the box a dozen times.

I would call CPS back and tell them that this is a case of ABANDONMENT and they had better do something or your attorney will be initiating a lawsuit! Even if you can't afford an attorney, it may move them to do something.

Maybe contact the father, or file a potition to the courts for temporary custody. Kudos to you for taking care of them. They need your love.
