Shades of grey. . .

On your first site, one was judged to be misinformend if one held one of the three following views.

1. Iraq was involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks or proven to be supporting al-Qaeda.

2. Weapons of mass destruction had been found in Iraq.

3. International popular opinion favored the U.S. war against Iraq.

Regarding each of these statements...

1. It has been rumored that there were contacts between Saddam and al-Qaeda. Quite frankly, we do not know if this is true or not, so the evidence is inconclusive. Besides, it is a moot point. While Saddam may have had nothing to do with 9/11, it's not why we went into Iraq in the first place.

2. Actually, some older chemical weapons were found in Iraq, therefore the second statement is incorrect. Besides, this is a moot point once again. Saddam violated the treaty that called for unfettered access for inspection for WMD's. Whether or not he had them is immaterial. Prudence demanded that we had to go in.

3. While many polls may have shown disfavor for the invasion, there was a "Coalition of the Willing".that included 49 members. Therefore, to imply that international support for the war didn't exist is misleading.

Therefore, the question is biased and any resutls from the poll should be dismissed.

That being said, we've been there long enough. Time to let the Iraqis clean up their own house.

Well, because according to the studies you posted, they aren't watching PBS or listening to NPR. What I gather from this study is, they compared the answers PBS / NPR listeners gave with the answers Fox News watchers gave, called all the Fox answers wrong, and had a little party. Yay, statistics are fun, no? I could say the same about CNN and the like, all they run are specials like "Broken Government" and "Planet in Peril". And you wonder why people believe those things, huh?

They lie, distort, omit, just like ABC, NBC and CNN. Their job is to sell the viewer's attention to their advertisers. Most Americans are too deficient in critical thinking skills to question the veracity of the %#it fed to them on tevee news.

Ah yes another leftist giving biased info to say that Fox is nothing but a right wing propaganda source.. And i suppose that those polls that were supposedly conducted could have been right since they didn't give all the info as how scientific the polls actually were.

And lets not forget that both links are dated back in 2003. Not sure if anyone really knew what was happening then. But nice try anyway.

Because Fox purposefully missinforms them.

That is what Fox does. They are not a news service. They are the "house organ" of the GOP and the Bush cabal. That is their purpose.

The GOP and the Bush adminstration's policies and actions are so disgraceful to the majority (if they were entirely known) of the American people they need a Fox News to spin away from and hide the truth and actual motives. They knew that, that is why they created Fox.

Why do leftist base their views on biased polls ? Are you that surprised by the negative numbers on a poll put out by the competition of Fox News. Who's really misinformed?

My personal experience in Iraq was that the war coverage from Fox news was the closest to reality of all the news networks.

Say what you want about them but you have to admit that what they say matches what the people who have been there say.

Hmmm...reliable news agency. Random peoples blogs. Which am I getting my news from? I would take the news agency. It's been shown that Fox News is the most reliable and truthful of all the news agencies.
