I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a link to a legal case (as current as possible, however it doesn't really matter if it's a really old one) that shows each branch's involvement or impact (executive, legislative, judicial). I need an example of a legal case, an incident, or social situation that is impacted by each of the branches. thanks for your help in advance guys and gals.

It seems like any Federal case law involving a U.S. law (i.e., passed by Congress) and the President will fit what you're looking for. There is plenty of case law from which you can choose. I don't understand why would need help here.

An old one, and arguably the most famous, is Marbury vs. Madison.

A recent case is Bush v. Gore.

Well, it is not a legal case, YET, but the most recent "issue" that involves all three branches as you have described is the CIA interrogation tape incident. Here is a link that describes it nicely.

Good luck.
