I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food so the strangest thing I've eaten is kangaroo steaks. Which were very tasty on a barbie!

My own personal experience - "rocky mountain oysters". My mom MADE me eat them when I was a kid and I cried and asked for a pb&j instead! Worst food experience of my life. They were nasty (I know some people like 'em, so no offense). I think I had to eat 3 or some such number like that. UGH!!

Barbecue squirrel at a neighborhood party when I was little. Also, fried frogs legs (also at a neighborhood party) as a teenager. Also, fried alligator bits at a resort in Florida a few years ago.

Well this one time, some kin folks of mine offered me some 'Mountain Oysters' and to be polite I tried some, and amazingly enough, they were GOOD! That is until I found out what they were and then somehow I didn't fancy them anymore.

Alligator stew - escargo (snails) - chocolate covered ants and termites - fried eel - kalimari (squid) - I stopped short of attending the nuts and guts banquet though as that would go way way way beyond strange to me.
