My grade weighting is 40% first quarter, 40% second quarter and a 20% final to total for the semester. I can't remeber the scale but the one we use is with grade letter versus percentage.

a D. the F and the C average out to a D, so if you want to keep that grade, you have to get a D on the final

you would need a D... The F and the C (both pulling the same weight) already average a D. So you have a D right now. Just get a D on the final and you should be fine.

Hi. I hope this is a theoretical question and not a goal! You will need at least a C to assure a D final.
