Oprah is first of all,an American who can support whoever she wishes. They have known each other for many years. What's the problem?

Doubtful. More likely because he's from Illinois (as is she) and she is more familiar with his policies than the rest of the country who didn't know who he was until a year ago. If she was to pick on the basis of something as superficial as race or gender, then she could easily have backed Hillary instead. I think Oprah is a little smarter than to vote for someone based on the color of their skin. Anyone who wants to say her endorsement is racially motivated, is just fishing for a way to belittle her endorsement.

The black community has every reason to be proud of Barack Obama. Looking up to him is much better than looking up to the gangstas.

Queen Oprah bases her decisions solely on money and what would be better for her career.

Wha? "Part black"? If you knew anything about racism, you'd know that being biracial is far more a stigma than anything else. UGH!

Ironically, it is evidence that she ISN'T racist.

Are we racist because we plan on voting for someone of our own race. No? Then why would this be a consideration?
