Two weeks before I was supposed to have my period, I was exhausted all the time and I started having morning sickness. My husband suggested maybe I was pregnant, but I said no because I didn't think I would have symptoms that soon. Then, 6 days before my period was due, I had just a little spot of blood one time when I wiped. I assumed this was implantation bleeding and tested the next day.

With my daughter it was because my breasts hurt sooo much. It felt like my bra was made of sandpaper. The I counted back and realized that I had DTD on O day.
I didn't get a positive until the day I missed my period though.
My next pregnancy ended in a MC but I had no idea I was pregnant until I realized I hadn't gotten my period in a while and so I tested.
My next one (also a MC) I tested before my period because I has morning sickness. Also didn't get a positive until my period was due.
With my son, I knew I had DTD on O day and started testing at 8 DPO. I got my first positive at 9 DPO. I hadn't had any symptoms yet.

I tested the day before i was due on as i 'felt' i was pregnant. We had been trying and i knew that we had got the timing right due to using a ovulation test. I had a bad backache, felt very tired and sick. My boobs hurt ( more than they normally would around the time of my period ). I had an odd taste in my mouth, kind of metallic. I had already been pregnant before and recognized the feeling!.
I hope this helps.
mum of 2 and 35 wks preggo with 3rd.

I just felt I was pregnant before I took the test. Something inside told me.

I was trying to conceive for both of my kids, so I was always eager to take the tests early. But I was short of breath ALL the time, like I couldn't even get through a conversation without having to stop and breathe. I got very nauseated very early, I could smell anything and everything around me when no one else could, and everyone around me just kept saying I was "glowing". Good luck.

We were actively TTC, so I knew when to expect my period. I had extremely sore breasts and nipples which I never experienced to that extent before, by 12 DPO I just couldn't hold out any longer and tested ad got my first BFP.

We were trying so I wanted to find out. I had no real symptoms until about a week after my period was skipped.

for alot of women, they just know. i did both times. with my son i did wait until the day i was supposed to start. with this one, i took it 4 or 5 days before. if you know your body well enough, you will know you are pregnant almost from the moment of conception. :)
