It is obvious. As many people do not want a woman in
the White House is bad enough. But having another
Clinton there would only mean that they have the leg
up. And would prove everyone on the far right wrong
again. The same way they did in 1992.... Many issues
lie on the table. War, economics, illegal immigration,
health care, and social security. Of which the Demos
would have a field day on, given the last progressive
period we had with the Clinton Administration. And he
even made some of the welfare receivers, get a job.
Many did not agree with that, but it worked. And it
stimulated the economy. Now after the last economic
report, who would want the same crap, we have been
getting for the past 7 years ? Only the GOP.... So do
they fear Hillary Clinton ? If so, then why ?
Best answer wins.

Are you kidding? You say her name and the GOPers poo their panties! They know when Hillary becomes president that she will put them in their place and America will improve... they hate that.

Well the answer is two fold. She can motivate a significant percentage (due to her epic negative numbers) of the GOP and Independents. So promoting fear of the Hildabeast is a good way to get voters ready.

NOW. I fear her for different reasons. She has a personality and leadership style akin to Nixon and LBJ and to be frank in times of chaos and division as we have today thats the last thing we need as we saw what it did in the days of LBJ and dick nixon.

I also don't like the fact that Bill has (and if she pulls it off this trend will continue) every Job she has ever held. She hasn't earned anything on her own merit. So I don't trust her ability to handle crisis on her own... and if Bill just puppets her I think that is an end run around the spirit of the Constitution and perhaps the most unforgivable damage Bill Clinton could do to the soul of our country

They HOPE she gets the nod. She can not win a general election. Polling shows that 50% of Americans would not vote for her...period. No other candidate at this point has a number anywhere near that. She is rude, loud and pushy. I have no qualms with a woman being President...but good lord not her. She's awful.

BTW - totally independent here. I look at politics based on the politician and I don't think for a second that Hillary is at all credible or trustworthy.

Zodiac, you must have forgotten that only for the first 2 years of the Clinton administration did he have a democratic congress after that it was a republican congress. So all of that progress can be attributed to the republicans. I don't fear Hillary, I just don't think she has any qualifications for being the president woman or man. Other than marry Bill what has she accomplished on her own. She had to move to a very democratic state in order to get elected to the Senate and that wouldn't have happened if her last name hadn't been Clinton. She is a troll riding on the coat tails of her philandering husband.

I'm a conservative, and I don't fear her. I would laugh in her face, given the opportunity.

Be a man... Admit that it's your own party that fears her because they KNOW she'll never be elected. You cannot base an entire campaign on your genetalia and being "bullied" by the boys and expect that to seat you in the White House. The American people are not THAT stupid!

By the way, what are her latest stances on the Iraq war and on driver's licenses for illegals? I've lost track.

Flip-flop! :p

I consider myself progressive to the core. Hillary is not a progressive nor an agent of change. She is just as deep in with the corporatocracy, lobbistocracy and wall-streetocracy as nearly any republican. I don't think they fear her at all. Why should they? She is a status quo lite candidate. They should fear John Edwards, he will be an agent of change. If there is going to be any chance of house cleaning Edwards is the only one that has campaigned on that.

Fear away GOP. You should be afraid.

We all should feel sorry for someone who thinks this woman should be president just because her name is Clinton. The only one who should fear Clinton is Z man.

The GOP embraces her, they want her to win the nomination. Why? This will ensure a Republican gets elected President because a woman WILL NOT get elected President this election.

Clinton also did one bad thing while he was in office, besides the whole Perjury and impeachment thing, he downsized our Military and look where he put us. We are still stretched to thin while our troops are on their 3rd and 4th tours in Iraq.

If I did fear Hillary, it would be because she is Jimmy Carter with a vagina. We all know what a wonderful president he was. Now she's trying to be soft and cuddly after we all know she's been a pit bull for years. It won't work. We're on to your act Hillary.
