I own my own corporation. We own everything from restaurants to stores to real estate. I got an MBA a few years ago and now am working on my PHD while working. I like what I do, so it isn't so bad. I work my schedule when I want.
You're music is popping!!! I checked out your my space and listened to some of your stuff. It's hot and I see a future in it for you. Accounting is a very safe practice, but there is money in it!!!
Hope you keep up with your music. I think that's your true passion!!!

Currently unemployed due to the crisis in the mortgage banking and real estate industries. However, I do volunteer my time as an Administrator for a message board in my community. Although, I do not make a living doing that, it gives me a sense of unity with the community that I reside.

I owned a small business for a number of years, then became a consultant, then became a teacher. The first two were great. The last has left me with a burning hatred for public education and the abject mediocrity it rewards, and the enemy of ex-jock administrators everywhere.

I'm a retired telescope maker/optician with a lot of other handy skills under my belt. I loved having a job where there's never a dull moment and people's eyes go up in wonder when you tell them what you do. What bugs me is folks that think you only know one thing and when you're doing something completely different, like car repair, they act like you're a dummy. I fixed cars and tractors before I learned optics. And electronics, etc, etc.
