Sorry-I view illegals differently. Rather than deport them or stop them I think we should make arrangements for them. I for one don't see Americans lining up to pick strawberries or wash dishes. They are just trying to take care of their families in the best way they can. The ones I would like to see gone are the coyotes who take advantage of the illegals.
Didn't many of our ancestors come here illegally to begin with?

No I don't like the idea of doing this for money. There definitely should be a real fence on the Mexico border. These people would not be trying so desperately to get into this country if they could survive financially in their own. There the wages raise them up barely above slave labor. The U.S. has played a major role in this. Our government has allowed factories to go to these third world countries so that the rich can get even richer. If there were better wages and better working conditions in those countries this problem would not be as big as it is. Think about that when you vote.

It smacks of hilterism....where children turned in teachers and parents for "wrong thinking" or for suspected being Jewish.
We are not the social police. We cannot know whether a person is undocumented or not....and to surmise that one is here illegally is bigoted based on skin color or accent.
Leave immigration where it belongs; to the Federal government. Only the Feds can make and enforce immigration policy - and they are disinclined to do it. States cannot enforce immigration law. They can call in the Feds but if the Feds don't do anything about it, case closed.
I have watched this immigration uproar 3 times in my lifetime (I'm 67)... The same nonsense, the same rhetoric, the same foolishness, the same reaction by those who feel superior...the same nonaction by Congress. The ONLY thing that has ever happened was amnesty.
The President can sign a blanket amnesty without the approval of Congress or the American people. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Bush signs off on it shortly before he leaves office.

And the legals will have to wear a taco shell on their heads, right? No, Homeland Security is bad enough. You're suggesting the kind of thing we fought a revolutin to escape.

I think that if the government did their job there would be no need for a bounty.
I know many friends who would be more than happy do do it for free. They would also be guarding the border to make sure that they didn't return, armed of course.

No, I don't think there should be a bounty. People tend to go overboard with that.
I'd just be happy if the laws we already have were enforced.
And I should not have to press 1 for English.

$10 would not be worth the hassle. Up the bounty to a $1,000 and I might consider it.

What about $100 if we bring them to the local lockup. All the seniors would have plenty of money then.

Although this mess has to be cleared up, don't care to see
a 'Mad Dog', bounty hunter infestation knocking down fences and tearing up the countryside.
