Rubin was Bill Clinton's treasury secretary.

He is Citigroup's Chairman. Yes, Citigroup is one of the lenders that made all of those subprime mortgage loans.

Does anyone know how much Citigroup executives have donated to Hillary?

I'm sure they can afford it. The previous CEO just left with a $50 million pay package. (Rubin, as Chairman of the Compensation Committee, was responsible for that package.)

Hey genious Georgie is already starting some of those type of "relief" programs. And by the way by helping the lenders you are helping the PEOPLE who are going to be foreclosed on. The fall out is not good for our economy as a whole so something has to be done. Maybe if some regulation had been put in place before hand this would not be happening. Oh yea keep the Gov out of capitilism. Sorry you dont get it both ways.

I don't know about that, but I will bet you that before Bush leaves office, all of the Enron crooks will be set free. Want to bet? Enron was his largest contributor when he was Governor.

Well, if you go to www.votesmart.org, which usually lists th PAC money on the candidates-if they're willing to disclose it, Hillary refuses to list where her money is coming from.
So I would say yes, anything is possible.
