smell of pot make me severely ill. I am having severe headaches, nausea and the urge to vomit. This happened when I was a little girl too when my parents smoked. I cannot stand the smell either and maybe because it makes me so sick.

Why would the smell make me so sick? I don't smoke and I don't care to and for it. But I don't understand why pot makes me ill. Please help.

I find it hard to believe that the smell alone could cause such a viloen reaction unless you are severly allergic to it i think it is a trigger for bad memories of your parents smoking pot and ignoring you when you were little if you gor this ill your parents proabably stop it so now you are wired so that everytim you smell it you get ill ie: pavlovos dog

Its possible its an allergic reaction to the THC. Did you inhale enough to feel the effects of it on your body/mind? If so, it might have just been a result of being a bit high and having a "pot-headache". I've heard of those happening once in a while.

As an advocate of pot I'd have to say that chances are it's just your personal preference. Unless you've been round a hell of alot of smoke I can't see it being the effects of the active ingredient (thc). I personally can't stand Liver and get similiar feelings when I smell that cooking. My girlfriend also hates the smell of weed and used to get similiar feelings.

It is probably because you are brainwashed by our great leaders in washington, Ronald Reagan and his wife. Do you get sick if you smell Booze? What about dog s--t, human puke. Maybe you should try it, It might make you feel better as it is a herb, and has been around forever

When people start smoking, they often get sick. The chemicals in the tobacco or weed are literally toxic, that is what causes the change in brain chemistry that causes addiction and the high.

The human body was not meant for inhaling smoke. I often feel ill after people smoke around me. It could be that I'm super-sensitive, or that I'm allergic. Could be the same for you.

People are allergic to different things. My cousin fer instance breaks out in red bumps after eating eggs. A friend of mine reacts sickly when she drinks cows milk but goats milk has no effect on her. i asked her how goats milk tasted and she said, "not baaaaaaaaad". My wife gets ill with tobacco smoke so, I think, your normal.

You are having an allergic reaction most likely.

Your parents smoked pot in front of you when you were a kid? Unbelievable! How irresponsible.

What did your best friend do when she caught her kids, hopefully had a brain and grounded them and had a serious discussion about why not to use drugs.

You are upset that you got sick when you smelled it as opposed to being mad that they were smoking it in the first place?

your mom probably smoked pot while you were a fetus. its true i read it in biology class.
