It's not abnormal, but probably not very good manners. My sis does it all of the time, and so does my BF. I've done it when my phone rings and I'm on the toilet, but I don't go in there and dial a number. A lot of it depends on who the person is and your comfort level with them.

Yes... just push the "mute" button as needed, and ESPECIALLY when you flush... just out of courtesy, lol..... I hate to use the commode while on the phone but a lady's gotta do what a lady's gotta do sometimes... :o) (what they don't know won't hurt em', hehehehe)

If your on the phone and you have to go you can't help it. Unless you want to hang up and call them back.

lol . . . it really depends who I'm talking to. If it's my best friend or mom - I go all of the time but I would probably refrain if it were my boss or boyfriend.
