Turkish men (I'm not sure if this is how he is, but I know a Turkish guy and this is how he is) tend to treat women as property and lower than they should be treated. Definitely not treated as equals. They tend to tell their woman who they can and can't talk to and all that junk. But that's not all of them. This guy could be a true gentleman, who knows.

Yes. Of course. Every marriage has its struggles, but they must not give up. I know as a fact that males from the Middle East and surrounding areas, know how to express there feelings, are romantics. And what is wrong with a man hugging a man or kissing a man on the cheeks. On the other hand they can use the Woman, draw her in with their amazing charms and romance, and use her for a visa to the UK.

Well what a lot of biased advice has already been given..............culturally biased that is. I married a Jordanian woman.............. We have been together for 8 years. Before any one starts thinking mail order brides......shes a lawyer and earns 120000 a year(Stirling)...... There are differences but they add to the relationship. In the end it comes down to the people....but your friend needs to understand the differences well.
I recall in New Zealand a Maori/ European marriage and everything was fine until the first child was born. In some traditional tribes the grandparents raise the first child. He was the Maori and he came from one of these traditional families it created a bit of a problem for her when the in laws turned up to claim their grandchild.

the nationality of the person is neither here nor there. Some relationships work and some don't. That's all there is to it.
