That loophole was scheduled to end in September. While not all of the adjustments are in place as of this time, the algorithms used to determine credit scores are being changed to eliminate any benefit you got from piggybacking. All those folks who paid good money to piggyback are going to be very upset when their now decent credit scores go back down to where they were BEFORE the piggybacking.
