PETA is a terrorist organization plain and simple. They are no longer a registered charity. The regularly use scare tactics, spin and sometimes violence to make their point.

People support PETA because they are naive. You want to save an animal, volunteer for your SPCA, adopt a pet, give to registered charities.

If you want to be an extremist and make a fool of yourself join PETA.

I know what you are talking about, I saw that PETA show on HBO where the PETA lady took the dog from this guy and because the dog was sick she killed it. WHO the f*ck gave her these rights ? That guy could have had his dog until it die but she just had to step in. I am sure the owner could care less that the dog was suffering and this is not her problem. I don't support PETA based on the HBO special I watched. That lady should mind her own business.

PETA has some valid points regarding the treatment of meat animals, but have squandered any credibility they may have had in that arena by the way they treat companion animals...

I've long made the point that PETA are responsible for some fairly horrific acts and the horrific means they use to further their "cause." In my opinion, it's fair enough for them to express their views and raise awareness of their position, but to attempt to force everyone else to adhere, in the way they do, is just plain wrong.

Because they love to kill pets. Some people have no problem with that, but take serious issue with killing animals for food.
