2/3(x - 3) + 1/2x = -10

I worked out this much:

2/3x - 2 + 1/2x = -10

7/6x - 2 = -10

7/6x - 2+ 2 =-10 + 2

7/6x = -8

But I don't know what to do next. =\

----> 2/3x – 2 + 1/2x = –10

2/3x – 2 + 1/2x = –10
7/6x – 2 = –10
7/6x – 2 + 2 = – 10 + 2
7/6x = – 8
7×6x/ 6x = – 8 × 6 x

Great job so far. Let's multiply each side by 6.
7x=-8

Then divide each side by 7:

x= -48/7 or -6.857
