Remember, In Europe its 140,00€ and not 140.00€. But both mean 140€
140€ = $201.6907
in words: one-houndred-forty Euros = two-houndred-and-one Dollar
1€ = $1.4406
and not the other way round.
Dollars are very cheap atm. So for Europeans its very cheap to make holiday in the US
edit: Because of the fact, that behind the comma there are just two 0, he means 140 euro, definitely!! He just uses the european way to write it. Comma instead of a dot
editedit:
1 Euro = 1.95583 DM (former)
1 Euro = 1.4406 Dollar --> 1 Dollar = 0.6948 Euro
100 Dollar = 69.4783 Euro
--> 100 Dollar = 135.8877 DM (former)
So it was not 10 Years ago. Even today you would get 135 DM for your 100 Dollar (if it would still exists)

Definitely not in Europe MBBS will cost a lot more than that. You can go to Romania, it's the cheapest, I think the fees are going up to 5000 Euros per year but it's not MBBS. Is that your budget per year or for the whole course? The UK is the place offering MBBS and the fees are currently around 20K per year for basic sciences and up to 40K for clinical years. That does not include living expenses. You can try places like Hungary - they have good schools - but you need to be careful about eastern europe especially since you are asian they can mistake you for a gyspy and they are not nice to them. You can always do a BSc in your country then go to the caribbean for 4 years of med school. Other countries in Europe are free or very cheap but you need to know the language.

Do you mean 14.000 Euro or 140.000 euro 140 Euro?
they use periods not comma's as we do with the dollar. so is this 14.000 euro or 140.000 euro?
then I can answer you. Your comma confuses me.
(Thomas T- you are correct. Did you know ten years ago it was the other way around? It used to be so cheap for us to vacation in Germany, I would get 150-160 DM to my 100 us dollars. Now with the Euro I get less than 100. Odd how that happened in just ten years!

I think the problem people are having with your question is that for the US dollar we use a period [.] when others use a comma [,]
140 euros = 201.61 dollars [rounded down]
14000 euros = 20,161.29 dollars
