I definitely think your answer should NOT have been removed. I don't think it's "chatting" I think it's a very good question and a lot more interesting than some of the questions that have not been removed. I think many MANY questions are chatting, so why wouldn't all the questions be removed? I don't understand the reasoning behind removing many of the questions that are removed. I could understand if they were offensive or contained a lot of profanity or even if they were "adult content" so to speak, but I don't know who decides what should and shouldn't be removed....
How much do you want to bet they remove this question too? Very strange...

The best would be to lodge an appeal against the removal of your questions. The contact particulars will be in the violation notices.

I can relate. I posted a question over the weekend, and got a violation notice. My question was, What are you needing at the grocery store? I was told that it was chatting also. Makes you wonder who's in charge of deciding what's chatting.

some people push the report button-just because they dont like a question or a person...i think its just computer generated and has nothing to do with yahoo looking at the question...its real unfair..........

they delete them with the help of a logarithm, which points to random questions, which are promptly deleted.
either that, or they flip coins....
