Yes small simple deed do warm my heart. It could be anything from a hello to holding the door open when you see me approaching it. I do little things all the time because I want others to feel the warmth or special even if it is only for a second.

Yes, they really do warm my heart. Today, one such "small thing" happened. I had a 89 year old man come in for an exam and when he was finished, he got up off the bed and hugged me tightly telling me that I made his day by merely taking the time to chat with him about God. His hug has made my day.
Madam, your answers are always great.

I think so.. It shows that people are willing to help on even the "smal" stuff....
Last year, My fiance had fallen off of a ladder and we were waiting at the ER(his back hurt and he had a minor concussion to find out..) and this older lady and her husband came in. well, the lady's head was wrapped in a towel and she was bleeding pretty bad, and the hospital staff wasn't doing a thing about it! so when they called my fiance to go back, he told them to take her first and they did. I really don't think they knew the extent of her problem because they looked a bit shocked when they saw her...
Then about a week later, we got a Christmas Card with a gift card to a restaurant in the mail from them for his act of kindess..
I didn't care about the card or anthing, that night made me so proud to be with the man I am. It made it even better too because they didn't let it go unnoticed...

I think I saw the question you are referring to....and yes....little things really do mean a lot sometimes. Very often, a few kind words are all that are needed to warm my heart.

Yes they do! I received a card yesterday that said "Thank you for being my neighbor" It meant a lot to me because he has lived on this street for over 50 years and is battling cancer. He is 84, and the sweetest, kindest person I know. I have only been here 2 years and he has made me and my family feel so welcome.

Yes absolutely!
This morning I was waking up and my husband rubbed my back for 5 minutes. It was so simple but it felt awesome and it started me off on a great day!

I think so - perhaps they aren't the smallest though, but the ones that are subtle or not ostentatious or public.
