For some culture, for our culture, especially for a village culture in our world, it may be seen as more or less wrong of a good woman to date a visibly younger man. The reason may also be found in the biological fact that the woman may cease to be fertile already at the age of fifty, while the man is reputed to be fertile all his life long.

This consideration may even be more valid if the two that get into a relation that should last forever first and foremost are interested in offspring, even at a later stage in the man's life, and are very interested in the approval and blessings from their environment about their relation.

This may be seen as the blunt practical aspect, which also is strictly tied to an old moral, and to the fact that some crass people might shake their head and also laugh about a younger man being formally sexually connected to a woman that may look as old as his own mother.

When two romantic souls of such ages in our world declare to have fallen in love with each other, or just want to stay with each other, their idyl may be disturbed, even harassed, by the blunt interference from disapproving relatives and surroundings.

Sometimes people who want peace and freedom will try to keep their relation secret, for as long as possible, or they may decide to go and live away from village and away from relatives, and so go and live in a large more neutral city where people might appear to be less directly concerned about what is right and not right in the romantic liaisons of their neighbors.

Nothing wrong with a woman dating a younger man, as long as he's 18 or older. Society has conditioned us to believe that the man must be older than the woman in a relationship. But if we look for the reason WHY society believes this, there really isn't a good one. Society believes that the man should be older than the woman just because "that's the way things have always been." It's a tradition, passed down from a patriarchal society in which the man was expected to rule over the woman and the rest of the house. Since greater age is often seen as giving someone more power and wisdom, it was also expectected that men must be older than their wives.

Are you kidding! When I was 18, I dreamt of older more mature women popping me. I woun't have cared if she was just using me.

Now that I'm 44 I'm not always attracted to older women. At least not older than me. Oh wait my wife is 7 years younger!

actually i started looking n feeling young after my boyfriend came into my life...

there would be certain setbacks initially... but u should overcome it for the treat u get...

the only problem about dating a younger man comes fom the society...i believe that today's few have that kind of taboo's..but generally is not wrong at all...

i dont think so. the woman will have more experience with going through life while the man will have more experience with something else. go for it!
