Different problems. The problem would be lack of protein for one, plus lack of certain vitamins, etc. The point the movie was making is that McDonalds has ALL the major food groups available, yet they are so processed and fatning, that even tho all the food groups are there, it's not good enough to live on.

I've lived off less. But I wouldn't want to. Oatmeal would be boring and there wouldn't be a complete lack of protein if you add milk to it and if you could switch it up with different berries and fruits. Don't know that you could sustain life forever on just oatmeal alone.

I've seen the movie and enjoyed it. However, oatmeal alone isn't enough to really sustain you and make you healthy. You would survive ok, and your weight would be good, but you need a more varied diet.

They would be malnourished. Oatmeal only has so much. A person needs foods from every food group in order to stay healthy.
