Normally, I avoid the use of the phrase ‘it depends on this or that’ but here is your question most directly upon most people, in most general terms, but I would not say, even then, that it depends upon the place, the situation or you, or me, I would say instead - it depends upon what you are looking for, what your mind is bent upon finding. One might be able to find just one thing out of a jumbled mess of one hundred thousand if one is really looking for it. The effect of the hectic variety of things in nature is most confounding, and also mesmerising for the mind. How often people end up buying things that they had no plan of buying but that just captured the fancy of their free mind?
It is dangerous to go out and about among things even of most bizarre and ordinary in nature, for everything is either a part of something great, or it is broken off from something big. You should rest assured, however, to find here both the best and worst of human mind instantiated. What do you think is the best for your, for that would then be where your expectations are. All the best!

you reap what you sow - so basically its a direct relationship between the amount of effort expended and the likely outcome/reward. But pay heed to the word 'likely', as there is nothing certain. Ultimately though, you'd like to think that the cosmos would make sure you finish even....

It depends on how far you're willing to go. If your not willing to then nothing but if your willing to go for it, to truly give it your all, then you stand to gain anything and everything. So it's your choice; everything or nothing.
