You do not need software, other than your operating system, to connect to a router, wired or wireless. But you should go to the Belkin website for manuals.
Edit: Serenity, there are no drivers available for a Belkin Wireless G Router because you DO NOT NEED any software, please check your facts before you accuse people of being "dead wrong", or you end up being dead wrong. You can download firmware updates, but I would not worry about that. Get it working first. Try the quick install guide. you can also download the sofware installation wizard if you must, but it is *not* needed.

LOL - Been there and done that!
You _don't_ actually need the CD to setup your router because the router usually has a "mini-website" which can be used to configure your settings - all you need is the manual from http://www.belkin.com AND a standard network cable (assuming the reason you think you need the CD is because you can't use wireless at the moment).
Plug your computer/laptop directly into the router using your network cable. Click "Start" click "Run" type "cmd", then when the black MS-DOS box appears type "ipconfig /release" and press enter - it will take a few seconds. Then type "ipconfig /all" and enter, it will then show you some information about your network connection. Find the entry for "Default Gateway" and make a note of the numbers next to it. Then open your web browser and go to "http://" e.g. "http://192.168.2.1" or whatever. You should then have the Belkin screen up showing router status etc and be able to adjust your settings. If you need to change your wireless password etc so that you can access the wireless network you can do that in there too!
If you've lost your routers password (which you'll need to change settings) then you will have to reset the router to factory defaults (and probably have to configure all the other computer in your house/office to use the new settings) - and for that you'll need the manual so you will know what the default password will be. In my Belkin router manual there is a whole chapter on "resetting your router".
However, IF you've lost the CD for your wireless adapter (NOT the router itself) and thats why you can't get on the network, then you'll need to download it from the vendor (again, if its belkin then go to their website and click "support").

You do not need to pay again. Simply go to the Belkin site, click on the Support link, follow the onscreen instructions to enter your model number, and then you will be taken to the downloads area. Just ensure that it is the correct software, and then click on the download button, or the link. You can also download manuals in PDF format, and all you need is the free PDF reader from Adobe. In order to read the manual Online, you need the PDF browser add-on, and you get that when you attempt to open a PDF file, you will be prompted to install the active x component. I read PDFs Online on a regular basis and have never had any issue with the add-on.
The individual who stated you do not need the Belkin software in order to install a router is dead wrong. The software is neccasary in order to get the router up and running, and it has drivers which allow the router to communicate with the adapter. The adapter also has drivers to communicate with the computer. Drivers are a part of the software download.
If you also have a Belkin adapter, go ahead and check on an updated driver for it.
One bit of advice: In the Belkin configuration pages you can set it to automatically check for firmware updates each time you log on to your configuration pages. I do this so as to not miss an important update as changes occur at such a rapid rate in computer hardware and computer components. Firmware updates provides stability fixes, and additional features, such as more compatibility.
Here is the website:
http://www.belkin.com/support/
At the top of the page, in the series of three boxes, click on your category, which is Networking products. In the next box, select Routers, and in the third box select your router model. You will then be taken to the area where you can download what you need.
Good luck and I hope you get it all set up soon. Be sure to also download the manual for your particular router. Read the manual for instructions on how to connect your router. As you do not have the disk, you may have to use the "alternate" method for installation. Check out the instructions first to be sure. The easiest method is the Quick Installation Guide, so check that out and see if you have all you need to do it this way.
I just set up my second Belkin Router yesterday, using the Quck Installation Guide. The last time I set up my Belkin router I had to do so the alternate method, which was a long drawn out nightmare. I had to phone both my ISP and the Belkin technical department. This was due to the fact that my Modem was too far away for me to have a wired connection during setup. Starting out with a wired connection is by far the easiest method of installation, even if you have to hook up a cable temporarily to do so. That is what I did yesterday.
Once you have a viable connection with the modem and router and your computers, then go in and setup the security. It is very simple and easy to do.
