People should have voted in 2000 in florida and ohio, people that could have made a difference.
Everyone should vote, if not they are short-circuiting democracy.

"Hate" is a pretty strong word. I would rather you'd have said "miffed" or "appalled" or a hundred other words. The problem in America is that the average voter has an 8th grade reading literacy level. This being so, no wonder the politicians think we, as citizens, are "dumb" and can be told anything because politics is based on four words - republican, democrat, conservative and liberal - none of which are true to what the media wants one to believe.
What we have is basically an uneducated society, that until we begin to actually do the research needed on candidates BEFORE we vote, what else are the politicians supposed to think? I feel sorry for the non-voters, because they are stuck wherever they are at - as most hold jobs that are of low levels and they can't improve their lot in life until they realize that!

I don't hate non-voters (eligible), I just won't discuss politics with them just as I don't really pretend to know a lot about religion as I am non-practicing.
I tell my friends that the only one that benefits from their non-vote is whoever won, so don't complain.

With most answers I see in here, be glad most people don't vote, there are so many uneducated Americans that have no clue about politics. It is sad that our soldiers die for us to be free to vote, and we barely have people show up to vote.
again though look around do you want some of these idiots voting?

I don't hate them, no. I dislike people that whine about the state of the country but don't bother to vote though.
In my opinion, if you don't vote, then you have no basis to complain about the government, taxes, etc.

No, that's their constitutional right not to vote. If there's no one running that they agree with why should they vote? I would never vote just for voting sake. I would have to agree with the person I was voting for.
ANYA_MYS.....your so right.
