i try not to even f@ck with people who lie to me..

what's the point if you can't trust anything they say?

if I do though, I keep them at a distance, and in that case, it's unlikely I have to lie to them about anyway... the distance speaks for itself..

I met this one girl, the first girl that was actually in my life, but we weren't dating. She would say she is coming to my place later, ask for like $400 to go "somewhere" (I often didn't know where, but one place was a concert).

She would go... it would get late... I would call her and she would text back that she is still there and will call me back... Hours would pass and by the time I would call her back she would not answer...... The next morning she would realize that I thought the world of her and didn't want to throw that away so she would make the most ridiculous story up and totally think I would believe. She did this over and over again. I would give her so much money and she would use it to spend time with other people, including guys...

So, now that she asks for money... I drag it on... and let her think I'm falling for her bullcrap, and drag it on...

I didn't think a person I cared so much about would lie like this, but after I realized that it was a one-way thing, I kinda turned mean.

Oh, and ridiculously enough, one night she "demanded" money, and when I wouldn't budge she was like, "I gotta buy birthday presents for my brother," and his birthday (as I knew) was two months previous. I had a hunch that she was lying, and as her mom called, looking for her (she was homeless and sleeping at workmates' houses), she told me that her bro's birthday was two months previous.

So, I have no problem lying to her.

I always think of myself as the bigger person. So no I don't lie to people who lie to me. I am a big believer of what goes around comes around. If you treat people like s*** then you will be treated like that back.

no, I dont feel like I need to lie to anyone. If I don't want to give them an answer to a question, I just won't answer them. I hate confrontation and I won't lie. It's a catch 22=)

You lie to me once, there is no second time that you will get the chance to lie to me again. I will terminate the relationship immediately. That applies to Friends and/ or Family members.

now why would you want lie to someone unless your covering something up, and if those people will wait you will tell on yourself because you won't remember what the story of the first lie was

I don't make it a habit to lie to anybody. I just keep silent so there will be nothing to say or lie

I'm not sure. How do I know they're lying to me?

Lying is tough. It's a tough little sin, because it's everywhere, and sometimes necessary.

I'll avoid lying if I can, but no promises.

And that's no lie.

No. I just try to limit their opportunities to lie to me.

No, then I would have no means on which to confront them with....

I just find out about the lying, then confront them... At least then they have to admit to it, and own up to there mistakes... Two wrongs don't make a right, opening up about the problem does....
