If you mean ultimately, as opposed to the self-defining purpose of any goal-oriented behavior, there is none. If you choose not to believe this based on the implication that it's all "pointless", then you have confused consequences with evidence as so many do. Lack of ultimate purpose is what separates us from the cows.

To live in harmony with the planet until such a time as we can travel to other worlds and sew the seeds of humanity throughout our tiny little corner of the galaxy. Unfortunately our complete lack of intellect (in general) has us squabbling over whose god can beat up whose. I think its unlikely that we will get off this planet before we render it uninhabitable by our greedy over-use of natural resources, due largely to our own short-sightedness and stupid petulance.

To live comfortably and to let others live more comfortably.
To remember the Super Power gratefully for enabling us to live like this. To consider the mutual dependability of livng beings. Eat to live, not live to eat. The moment you realise that you are "good for nothing" finish yourself without troubling others.

I have asked that question ever since I could remember, and really still havnt figured it out!
You know, people will tell you everything under the sun and give you really, well BIZZARRE ANSWERS.
But, do we really know? Will we ever really know?
If I had to speculate! Well, I wouldnt because I have no idea, hence why I ask the same question.
HMMMMMM Why are we here?

All species reproduce to maximise their survival.
humans reproduce so much that they damage the chances of survival of their own kind.
That's all right.
the quicker humans die out, the better it will be for all other species on earth

To survive long enough to procreate, just like every other living creature. Anything more than this is a figment of your imagination.

From a physics perspective?
Hmm.
To obey the laws of Thermodynamics.
(If you had wanted something else, you should ask in a different category than physics.)
